As customers often tell us, that can bring peace of mind to you and your Family. A plan from Golden Charter also includes an allowance towards third party costs. These are essential, non-Funeral Director services such as the cremation or burial fees, plus the minister or officiant’s fee to perform the service. The value of the allowance included in your plan may grow over time. There will only be more to pay at the time of the Funeral if the third party costs exceed the allowance when you buy your plan, or if the costs increase by more than the growth of your plan.

Once contact is made with D. Watters Funeral Services, you can either call in our office or we can visit your home to make arrangements. We will guide you through every step of arranging the funeral and our priority is to make sure that you arrange the funeral for yourself or your loved one in a meaningful way.
We will liaise on your behalf with the cemeteries, crematorium, newspapers, clergy and the florist, and will advise you about the registration of the death. We will also, after the funeral, help with funeral payment forms from the social fund and if required, help to arrange bereavement counselling.

Choosing the right Funeral Director

We organise cremations and have a range of urns for storage of the ashes. The idea of a cremation is appealing to some, as your ashes can then be scattered by your loved ones in places that hold fond memories.
